Thanks to a colleague I got onto St Ali way back in COVID. I've tried a few others over the years but never been happy, so have always come back to St Ali.

Great beans for espresso—very aromatic with a smooth, well-balanced taste. I’ve been using them for years and they never disappoint.

Perfect coffee for my taste (Orthodox). Love the box for the subscription delivery! Especially as I'm in a regional area, feels much more secure for delivery.

We've had a subscription for a few years now, for 1kg whole beans per month; either Disco or Wide Awake. I tell everyone they should get one, as the coffee is just the best ever, and I can't imagine any other. On the odd occasion when a delivery goes awry, the Customer Service team at St Ali are always totally awesome and helpful.

even against other flavours of st. ali, italo disco comes out on top. perfect every single time, crema is unbelievable, delectable with syrup and delectable without it. i will always ALWAYS come back to this brand and specifically this coffee.

The Rodeo Olde Milk Japanese Glass Mug doesn’t just hold milk, it wrangles it. The moment I poured my morning coffee into it, I swear I heard a faint yeehaw echo through the kitchen. Suddenly I wasn’t a sleep-deprived adult, I was a cowboy at sunrise, staring down a long day with quiet confidence and a questionable moustache (I don’t even have a moustache).

There’s something about this mug. Maybe it’s the clean Japanese craftsmanship meeting wild-west energy. Maybe it’s the way it makes even a humble mug of coffee feel like a hard-earned reward after a long day herding spreadsheets instead of cattle. Either way, it’s changed me.

Before this mug, I rushed. I stressed. I drank beverages like a city slicker, reckless, distracted. Now? I sip. I reflect. I nod thoughtfully at nothing in particular. I’ve started saying things like “this town ain’t big enough for bad coffee,” even though I live in Adelaide and the town is, in fact, quite reasonably sized.

Emotionally, I’m more grounded. Spiritually, I’m somewhere between a Zen monk and a rodeo champion. Physically, I still spill milk sometimes but now it feels intentional, like I’m just watering the metaphorical ranch.

In short: this mug didn’t just hold my coffee. It lassoed my soul, took it for a ride, and gently set it back down as a better man.

I love this matcha. I've had so many different ones over the years, but it cannot compare to this one, it froths so well, the consistency is perfect. It tastes smooth and creamy.

Love Orthodox and the 12 month prepay subscription but about 3 times a year I run out of beans. I can try other coffees to fill the gap but wouldn’t it be great if there was a hit me one more time button that sent me an extra bag at the same great discount. Sending bags early and shortening the subscription time would work also.
